Mood Toolbox:

If I feel uptight and at a loose end, or feel like relaxing with a treat that is not food:

I have an Epsom salt and lavender oil bath, or perfumed bubble bath/shower gel in bath to calm and reset.  I always feel much better after this.

If I am having a mini panic attack, back flashes about bad stuff, or talking too much from coffee:

I observed that if I take 1 paracetamol and these symptoms of a chattering mind etc disappear within 5 minutes . 


I decided to try this strategy because I heard from word of mouth that in the old days if people did not feel well mentally they were advised to take 1 paracetamol and lie down for a bit, so I decided to try this old cliché remedy, as I thought people were happier in general back in the 1950s.  I think it is effective for me to some degree as this heading indicates.


I never take more than 1 paracetamol.  Follow the instructions on the package.


Discuss with your Doctor if you think this strategy might work for you. 


 


If I feel crazy during a full moon:

I find that I personally AM effected by a full moon, so if I take 1 paracetamol during a full moon, it appears to me to deactivate the gravitational pressure that I feel during a full moon.  Helps me sleep during a full moon also.  


I just figured this effective solution out myself.  


Check with your Doctor to see if this is the right strategy for you.


If I feel a bit flat or depressed:

If I feel a bit flat I have an Australian vitamin B based drink or a small bottle/can of a Cola type drink (I only drink the real sugar one as the fake sugar may increase risk of dementia and stroke), this peps me up a bit instantly.

I also discovered by trial and error, that for me a small drink of Cola is great  for long distance driving and keeps me more awake/alert than coffee while making my mood a bit more upbeat too.



If I have a bad headache/migraine or pain issues:

I found acupuncture gets amazing results with no side effects. 


Personally I used to have migraines and after 1 acupuncture treatment, it vanished within 2 minutes and I never had any more migraines after that.

  
I don't have pain issues, but acupuncture is also excellent at reducing pain as pain killers are bad for your heart and it is better not to go on those. 


Acupuncture can also treat RSI, carpel tunnel syndrome, without surgery if caught in early stages, you should see fast results.  I had a bit of RSI and it disappeared in 2 acupuncture treatments totally with no surgery or recurrence.
Practitioners vary, best to research and find a good one that is known as a gifted practitioner/healer.  


Personally I prefer a Western trained Doctor specializing in acupuncture.

If you are worried about acne and it makes you sad:

Most teenagers worry when they start getting acne as I did.  In my case I had chronic acne and didn't figure out how to get rid of it until in my 20s, so I will save you the trauma and tell you how I healed mine.


  • Your skin has a build up of dead skin cells that needs a deep exfoliation, so it breathes and doesn't get clogged up by dead skin which causes pimples.


  • I recommend initially getting a facial but make sure it includes a thorough exfoliation of some sort to get off the dead skin build up, I suggest a micro-facial or similar at a beauty salon.


  • After you do a one off deep cleansing exfoliation, I recommend getting into good habit of cleansing, moisturising your skin daily and also getting an exfoliator cream too to use weekly or as needed.  Just get affordable products within your budget, not necessarily from beauty salon, as teenagers budgets are not excessive.


  • In my case, this was not enough to get rid of my acne as a teenager, and one day a kind lady who also previously had chronic acne, told me to see my Doctor and get a referral to a DERMATOLOGIST, as they specialise in the skin and adult acne area.

  

  • After I saw the Dermatologist, my acne quickly disappeared within a month or so, which made me feel a whole lot better!  It was just hormonal adult acne, it does not matter what food you eat, so don't torture yourself, just go to see a dermatologist to try to cure it.



For an extreme mental health crisis situation:

I would suggest you contact the Crisis Assistance and Treatment Team (CATT Team) based at their head office at Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, where they have a dedicated team of extremely switched on Medics and they can arrange home visits free of charge to have a chat with you about how they can assist.  They are able to match you up with a psychiatrist if necessary.  This government service is in Australia, however there are CATT teams in other countries if you research.


However, as the public government system is under extreme demand, the CATT team professionals will advise that it is a good idea to get private health insurance for fast tracked admission to a specialised therapy hospital (which I discovered were lovely and 'nothing' like in the movies, more like a hotel with amazing restaurant and discussion groups on survival /coping ideas etc, much better people in there than in real world, so I was not scared at all after I realised this).  The private mental health hospital I went to was very uplifting and I could talk openly, in fact I didn't want to leave they were so nice.  I became a better more well rounded person after going there, to me it felt like a Drama school learning about being a well rounded human.


Ask the CATT team or private therapy hospital what level of cover etc would give you best coverage for that care, and they will advise you.  Most health insurance companies let you pay monthly so it is more affordable.


There is usually a waiting period to until private health insurance policy will be active to use, about 6 months in Australia, so I suggest you work through this website in detail while you are waiting, and you never know.


All the strategies on this website I have evolved, check with your Doctor or specialist to make sure these strategies are compatible with any medication you are taking.  In my case these strategies helped minimise my reliance on just one tablet, as it takes MORE effort to actually feel good anyway. 


It took me an extremely long time to navigate, figure out and design a road map to help save others, and even James Bond couldn't figure this out!  So just sharing my healing notes as SAS and Marines etc, brave strong people have been brought to their knees from this stuff, and I want to help rescue them so they are happy also.  We are ALL human and a bit of fine tuning our souls is beneficial for EVERYONE GLOBALLY!

These are a lifetime of tricks/therapy tools I have evolved over 40 years, they have worked for me and I have recommended these strategies to others with 100% positive feedback.

I have made myself a human guinea pig, and have figured out all these survival methods the hard way as a matter of necessity, life and death survival.  Most people in my situation would not have lived with mental health issues from car crash induced PTSD etc from 27 to 53 and be so healthy as me after going through some terrible health issues, and my doctors/specialists have noticed I appear to have a natural intuition with outside the box preventative healing methods that are compatible with Western Medicine.
